Hello,
Thank you for your generous support of Kids in Crisis and the children we serve.
I am thrilled to announce that The State of Connecticut Department of Revenue Services has again approved the Crisis Nursery at Kids in Crisis for participation in the
Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) Tax Credit Program this year. This is a win-win scenario because under this program, businesses and corporations can receive
a tax credit of 60% of their approved contribution to the Crisis Nursery program at Kids in Crisis. (Businesses unable to utilize the full amount of their credit may carry
back any unused credits to the two immediately preceding income years.)
This e-mail serves as a reminder that the deadline for the Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act application NAA-02 is approaching. I have just been notified by the
State of Connecticut that businesses and corporations wishing to sponsor an approved NAA program MUST submit their application to the Dept. of Revenue Services
(either via mail or hand delivered) at 25 Sigourney Street, Hartford CT 06106, Attn: Research Unit, beginning September 15, 2007 through October 1, 2007, but no
later then that date! So, for those of you who wish to take advantage of this great tax credit, please visit http://www.ct.gov/drs/cwp/view.asp?a=1447&q=266058&drsPNavCtr=| then
click on "Form NAA-02" to download the forms and learn more about how to file, or visit www.kidsincrisis.org and click on the Corporate Giving page for information and links
to the Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act.
Subchapter S Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Limited Liability Partnership, and Limited Partnerships are not eligible for the credit. For additional information, contact the Research Unit at 860-297-5687.
If you have any questions about this program or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Alon Marom
