Since its founding in 1978, Kids in Crisis has helped more than 89,000 Connecticut children and families; in
2007 more than 9,200 children and families received assistance from the organization.
Based in Cos Cob, Kids in Crisis provides services to children of all socio- economic conditions in
Fairfield County, including those in Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Ridgefield, Stamford,
Weston, Westport and Wilton.

Kids in Crisis Newsletters
For many years, we've shared news from our campus, staff and residents with you through regular mailings of our Insight newsletter. Now, we are able to share Insight with you via email, saving printing and production costs - additional monies that can now be directly applied to the rising costs of caring for children and families in crisis. If you would like to be notified when the next issue Insight is ready, you can join our email list. Of course, the current and past issues will still be available from this page of our website.
A Day of Giving. A Lifetime of Hope.
 On Saturday, December 13, 2008, Greenwich retailers will celebrate three decades of Kids in Crisis with a special 30 For 30 Holiday Event.
By purchasing a shopping pass you will be entitled to receive a minimum of 5% off purchases at select Greenwich Avenue retailers. Simply show your pass at checkout to receive your savings.
Picking Up Your Pass
Passes will be available for pick-up at Kids in Crisis, One Salem Street, Cos Cob, from 9 AM - 3 PM until December 12th. Passes can be picked up on the day of the event at "will call" located at Shoes 'N' More, 251 Greenwich Ave, beginning at 9 AM.
Extend Your 30 For 30 Shopping Experience
Your pass also serves as your entry (with a guest) to a private holiday party at Saks Fifth Avenue from 6-8 pm. Shoppers will receive 5% off their purchases and Kids in Crisis will receive 5% of store sales.
Additionally, specially-created Kids in Crisis chocolates, made by Schakolad Chocolate Factory and sold exclusively at Saks, will be available for sale.
While shopping and celebrating, get ready for the evening’s holiday parties with free make-up sessions and blow-outs, compliments of Saks Fifth Avenue and Becker Salon. And don’t forget to pick up your gift bag.
This Gift Gives Hope
 Kids in Crisis chocolates, specially created by hand by Schakolad Chocolate Factory, are the perfect holiday gift for friends, family and business associates on your list. That’s because proceeds from the sale of each festive box of gift chocolates ($35 per box) goes directly to fund the programs and services of Kids in Crisis, the area’s only free, emergency crisis counseling center and temporary shelter for infants, children and teens.
