When children and families phone 327-KIDS (5437), trained Kids in Crisis counselors are available to provide immediate help in working through ANY situation, ANY time of the day or night. They meet face-to-face for crisis intervention and short-term counseling. For families who need ongoing support, Kids in Crisis provides short-term counseling and a unique connection to community services throughout the area. Outreach Counselors stay with a family until the crisis is over and additional help is in place.
The Crisis Counselors at Kids in Crisis can help parents or kids work through issues big and small including school problems, communication struggles, family conflicts, economic hardships, divorce, abuse, substance issues and more.
