Every child who stays at Kids in Crisis begins their visit with a complete physical and dental assessment. To compile a thorough health overview, residents are also examined by a child and adolescent psychiatrist and psychologist when necessary. Without fail, treatment of previously undiagnosed problems or illnesses begins immediately and preventive care, including inoculations, is also launched. When children leave Kids in Crisis each has – many for the first time – an extensive, accurate medical work-up to provide future caregivers with insight on their individual journey. © Kids in Crisis |
